Why Fee Based Advice?
At the Broughton Wilkins Partnership, we concentrate on giving advice as opposed to selling products. Like any professional adviser, for example a solicitor or accountant, we charge for our advice.
However, we are able to give clients the choice of how they wish us to be paid. Some clients prefer to settle our fees directly - in these circumstances, we invoice on completion of the work carried out. Any commission that might otherwise be paid is then used to reduce the charges on the product concerned.
Other clients prefer us to use the commission generated by the purchase of a product to offset our fees. In the event that the commission exceeds our fees, any excess is held on account and used to offset the cost of regular reviews or any additional advice required. In the event of a shortfall arising, we would invoice for the balance.
Full details of our current fee rates and a sample Fee Agreement can be obtained by contacting our office.
Working this way is in everyone's best interests - it's fair, it's clear and our clients get the right advice.
